After downloading — Chrome & Safari

  1. Open the iPhone Files app.
  2. Find the ZIP file in the location where it was saved (often Downloads under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone).
  3. Tap the ZIP file to extract the photo folder.
  4. Open the extracted folder, select the photographs, tap Share, then choose Save Images to add them to the Photos app.

Large galleries need enough free storage for both the ZIP file and the extracted photographs. Downloading over reliable Wi-Fi is recommended.

After downloading: Downloading a ZIP file does not automatically add the pictures to your phone's photo gallery. Follow the device-specific steps above to find and save them.

Common questions

Do I need to copy and paste the Dropbox link?

No. Tap Download All Images on your personal RTGH Photography customer page to open the transfer directly.

Should I choose Save to Dropbox?

No, unless you specifically want the photos stored in your Dropbox account. For a download to your device, choose the blue Download button and then Or continue with download only if prompted.

I only see one file ending in .zip.

That is normal. A ZIP file holds all your photos together. Follow the instructions for your device above to extract (unzip) it.

It asks me to sign in or create an account.

You do not need a Dropbox account. If the sign-in window appears, select Or continue with download only at the bottom of the window. Your ZIP download should then proceed.

The download is slow or stuck.

Large photo collections can take time. Stay connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network and let the download finish. If it stalls, try again in another browser or use a computer.

It says the link has expired.

Dropbox Transfer links expire after a set period. Reply to your delivery email and ask RTGH Photography for a new link.

My phone says there is not enough space.

Free up storage space and try again, or download the photos on a computer. You may need extra free space to both download and extract the ZIP file.

Where do I find my downloaded photos on iPhone?

In the Files app, tap Browse and check the location you chose when saving the ZIP file (often Downloads under On My iPhone or iCloud Drive). Tap the ZIP file to extract it. Open the extracted folder, select the photos, then use Share → Save Images to add them to Photos.

Is downloading different in Chrome and Safari on iPhone?

Yes. Chrome may show Save... at the bottom of the screen, while Safari asks you to confirm with Download and may show progress at the top. Both browsers can download without a Dropbox account.
